MUMBAI: Happy birthday to MS Dhoni. Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned 40 today.

Birthday wishes for Dhoni began to flood in from all corners of the country on social media sites.

Fans, friends, and the cricketing fraternity took to Twitter and extended their warm wishes to 'Captain Cool' on his special day.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to wish the former skipper, calling him a "legend and an inspiration".
