NEW DELHI: Mukesh Khanna, who has appeared in shows such as Shaktimaan and Mahabharat, denied rumours that he had died on Tuesday, saying that he is "I am perfectly alright."
The 62-year-old actor used social media to engage with his fans by posting a video of himself.

Mukesh Khanna was seen in the video debunking death rumours.
“I've come to tell you that all is well with me. I was asked to dispel these rumours, and I plan to do so. I am perfectly alright and I've got your blessings," Mukesh said in the video.
Thanking his fans for their support he stated that he has been getting a number of phone calls as a result of the rumours of his death.
In a Facebook post, Mukesh Khanna said that he was hospitalised due to COVID-19.
The actor said, "I am healthy and safe and I don't have COVID-19 and have never been admitted to a hospital.
He went on to criticise those who spread false information and called for an end to fake news.
