Nagaland: 11 more positive, state tally at 36 confirmed cases

11 more covid19 positive cases have been detected in Nagaland. Out of the 11 cases, 9 are male and 2 female. All the positives are returnees from Chennai.

The corona infected returnees are now lodged at Dimapur and Kohima.

Nagaland has so far 36 confirmed cases and all of them are active.

Nagaland & Northeast

Assam has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases followed by Tripura. Nagaland has the 4th highest cases in the region.

India cases so far

The novel coronavirus has infected over 1.74 lakh people and claimed over 4971 lives as on May 30, 2020, morning, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. There are 86422 active cases with 82369 cases discharged and cured.

Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 2 thousand deaths. It has recorded 62228 corona cases with 26997 cured and 2098 deaths. The western state is followed by Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Gujarat has corona 15934 cases with 8611 cured and 980 deaths. Tamil Nadu has registered 20246 cases with 11313 cured and 154 deaths. The National Capital with 17386 COVID-19 cases has crossed the 10 thousand mark on May 25^th, 2020. So far, 7846 have been cured in Delhi with 398 deaths.

India has already surpassed China’s official figure of 82,993 confirmed coronavirus cases. India is the 10^th most cases in the world. So far, the USA has the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 1.78 m.
