Nagaland celebrates 55th Statehood Day Celebration

Guwahati, December 1, 2018:

Nagaland has observed its 55th Statehood Day Celebration at the Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on Saturday in presence of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.

President of India, Dr. S Radhakrishnan inaugurated Nagaland as the 16th State of the Indian Union on this day in 1963.

Rio has also extended his greetings to each and every one on the occasion of the 55th Anniversary of Nagaland Statehood.

The event witnessed colorful cultural dances by various tribes while Nagaland Police personnel including Mahiha (Women) personnel exhibited their skills on handling various arms on the occasion.
