KOHIMA: The Kohima district administration has imposed a complete prohibition of mass gathering in the state capital, in the wake of the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases.
This order has come in continuation to the previous order on May 4.
The administration, through the order, directed to keep all areas in the district, including religious places, free from mass gathering.

On the other hand, the Peren district administration has directed all the construction companies, undertaking developmental work in the district, to submit a list of the workers engaged in the construction works.
It also stated that the companies must keep a record of their employees entering the district from other parts of the state or country.
The companies had also been advised to identify a place to keep their workers in isolation, in case they are tested COVID-19 positive.
The order further stated that violation of these laws would result in legal action by the authorities concerned.
