KOHIMA: The Nagaland government informed that ration card with details including name, gender, photos, and age will be accepted as Identity proof for getting the COVID-19 vaccination.
The decision was taken to improve access to BPL category beneficiaries without other permitted documents.
State Immunization Officer, Dr. Ritu Thurr requested the CMOs to pass on the information to all the concerned staff.

The state achieved 100 percent vaccination drive in Yali, Moalenden, and Longsemdang villages under Mokokchung district.
Congratulating the district, Nagaland Chief Secretary J. Alam said , "Congratulations!! Yali, Moalenden, and Longsemdang villages for completing 100% vaccination. You lead the way for Nagaland to achieve the covid vaccination target in 2-3 months or even earlier. Salute Team Tsg and Mkg, VCs, HLWs, FLWs and volunteers. Keep up the good work."
