Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) in collaboration with Sarvahitey Foundation today launched law books and digitization of Legal Services Clinic at Kohima Law College.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest Justice L.S. Jamir, Judge Gauhati High Court and Executive Chairman NSLSA, Jamir lauded Sarvahitey Foundation to contribute more than 500 books relating to law and general subject to the Kohima Law College library in collaboration with NSLSA.
He said library is the brain for the future and hoped that the books will go a long way in allowing the students of the college to acquire knowledge on various subjects.
Launching the digitization of legal services clinics, Jamir appraised that the project is a tremendous steps that the present society is taking through computerisation and digitization which will help in various activities of the students.
Briefing on Sarvahitey Library Project, Mezivolu T. Therieh, Member Secretary NSLSA appraised that the basic idea of Sarvahitey Foundation is to give charitable books to rural area, however on special consideration the foundation has given law books and general books to Kohima law college library and further expressed gratitude to Sarvahitey Foundation and the Executive Chairman NSLSA for donating the digitization components for the legal services clinic.
