A Senior Cadet of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Senior Under Officer Vinole Kiso from St. Joseph's College, Jakhama (Autonomous) of the 1st Nagaland Girls Battalion of NCC, has joined the DG NCC Camp in New Delhi, and shall further be representing the North East Indian Region as a member of the prestigious All India Youth Exchange Programme. The programme is to be held at Singapore from November 11-20.
According to a statement issued by Lt. Col. L Vincent Patton, PRO of the Inspector General of Assam Rifles (IGAR -North), it was stated that the Senior Under Officer Vinole, after a rigorous selection process, has earned the privilege to represent the North East Indian Region, NCC Directorate, in the Republic Day Contingent Camp at Delhi in January 2019.
Kiso was also a part of the All India NCC Girls Contingent, which marched on the Rajpath as part of the Republic Day Parade, Flag Area Briefing, Line Area Competition and All India Best Cadet Competition.
During the camp, the Nagaland girl cleared a series of tests and interviews for the Youth Exchange Programme and was later nominated for Youth Exchange Programme in Singapore, the communique added.
