NAGALAND: ONE DIES AT WOKHA IN A TRAGIC INCIDENT

In a tragic incident one person identified as Khonchamo Tsanglao of Elumyo Village aged around 24 S/O Lt. Nkhyingo Tsandlao died on the spot while working in an under construction retaining wall collapsed at Airfield colony Wokha, today morning.

The body was retrieved with the help of colony people and police.chairman, Wokha District Disaster Management Authority (WDDMA) led by Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, IAS, Member Secretary (WDDMA) EAC, Wokha Vejoyo Swuro and SDRF team visited the spot for verification.

Meanwhile, immediate relief of ex-gratia of Rs. 1 (One) lakh was handed to the family of the next and kin by the Member Secretary, WDDMA.
