KOHIMA: Nagaland received another consignment of 600 oxygen concentrators on Wednesday.
The announcement was made by Nagaland Health minister Pangnyu Phom. The concentrators have been delivered to the state via an IAF plane, Phom added.
The Health Minister informed that the oxygen concentrators have been procured under NHP for the welfare and benefit of the citizens of the state during these trying times.
"Will continue to put all effort in safeguarding and availing best facilities for the needy one's", added the Health Minister.
Phom recently held a meeting with senior medical officers of District Hospital Dimapur to discuss the grievances and needs.
During the meeting, he assured all possible help from the health department.
Additional equipment, including additional X-Ray, machine CT- Scanner will be considered on priority for better service, he added.
The state government on Wednesday decided to continue with the ongoing lockdown till June 18 to contain the spread of COVID-19. However, a set of relaxations have also been provided.
