Nagaland records 40 new COVID-19 cases, 2 more succumbs to disease

DIMAPUR: Two more people died of Covid-19 while 40 new cases were detected in Nagaland on Friday. There were 56 recoveries during the day.

Of the fresh cases, Dimapur registered 15, Kiphire 1, Kohima 11, Longleng 2, Mokokchung 3, Peren 2, Phek 3, Tuensang 2 and Wokha 1, the Health and Family welfare Department said.

Among the 56 recoveries, Dimapur reported 16, Kohima 16, Longleng 4, Mokokchung 12, Peren 1, Phek 1, Tuensang 4 and Wokha 2.
