Nagaland records 89 fresh COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

KOHIMA: Nagaland’s COVID-19 tally had increased to 12889, with 89 new infections were reported in the past 24 hours.

Of the total 89 fresh cases, Dimapur alone reported 85 cases, while four cases were reported in Kohima.

“Update! 89 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today. Dimapur- 85, Kohima- 4. And, 1 +ve patient have recovered in Kohima. Cumulative 1. Total Cases : 12889 2. Active cases : 456 3. Recovered : 12117,” state health minister S pangnyu Phom tweeted.

Currently, the state has 456 active cases, while, 12117 people infected with the virus have been recovered so far.

Out of the total of 456 active cases, 411 are asymptomatic, 31 milds while 10 moderate on oxygen and four severe on oxygen.

The state has so far reported 84 deaths till now.
