Renowned Nagaland Author Kaka D Iralu passed away at the age of 64 in Dimapur late on Thursday evening.
According to reports, the Author was ailing and was undergoing treatment at the Christian Institute of Health Sciences & Research in Dimapur.
Popularly known for his books - The Naga Saga and Nagaland and India: The Blood and The Tears, Kaka D Iralu's works reached the length and breadth of the State. He was lauded for his works that revolved around the history and political life in Nagaland.

While the 'Blood and Tears' dwells on the history of the 52-year-old Indo-Naga war and the stories of the characters therein, The Naga Saga told the stories of conflict that lasted for 62 years.
The Khonoma native, who is a noted figure in Nagaland, will be laid to rest in Medziphema
