KOHIMA: Nagaland in the past 24 hours recorded three more fatalities due to COVID-19 and as manay as 266 fresh cases of the infection.
With the news cases, the state's total caseload reached at 14717.
Dimapur remains on top with 162 new cases, followed by Kohima (71), Tuensang (11), Mon(8), four each in Peren and Mokokchung, three in Longleng, and one each in Kihpire, Phek, and Zunheboto.
Nagaland currently has 1,798 active cases while 12,357 patients have so far been recovered from the infection.

Meanwhile, the death toll rose to 108, after three more patients died of the virus.
Moreover, 4802 cases from the armed forces/police, 2693 returnees, 6628 traced contacts, and 594 frontline staff were spread across different categories of people.
Since COVID testing began at the Dimapur airport for arrivals at least 449 passengers tested positive for Covid-19, out of the 833 tests conducted at Dimapur airport, between April 17 and 29.
The Nagaland health and family welfare department advised people to avoid travelling unless it is absolutely necessary.
