DIMAPUR: In the highest-ever one-day spike, Nagaland in the past 24 hours reported 366 fresh cases of COVID-19 while one person succumbed to the infection.
With the new cases being reported, Stat's total number of positive cases has climbed up to 17,256.
Meanwhile, the new fatality brings the death toll to 166.

Among the new cases, 164 were detected in Dimapur, 128 in Kohima, 13 in Mokokchung, 12 each in Wokha and Zunheboto, 10 in Kiphire, nine in Mon, seven in Phek, five in Tuensang, three each in Peren and Longleng.
The state currently has 3551 active COVID cases.
A total of 98 COVID positive patients--Kohima-(44), Dimapur (33), Tuensang (18), Zunheboto(2), Phek with 1 have so far been recovered during the period taking the tally of total recoveries in the state till date 12968.
