DIMAPUR: Nagaland in the past 24 hours reported six more fresh fatalities due to COVID-19, pushing the state's death toll to 577.
Amon the fresh fatalities, two persons succumbed to the infection in Dimapur, three in Kohima and one in Tuensang, said the Health and Family Welfare Department.
On the other hand, Nagaland's COVID-19 caseload rose up to 28,875 with 64 new cases of the infection being reported during the period.
Of the fresh cases, Dimapur registered 22 cases followed by Kohima (8), Longleng( 5), Mokokchung (15), Mon (4), Tuensang (2), Wokha (5), and Zunheboto (3).
Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in the state stands at 26,101 with as many as 78 patients infected with the virus being recovered in the last 24 hours.
Among the 78 recoveries, 16 people recovered in Dimapur, followed by, Kiphire (5), Kohima (32), Longleng (3), Mokokchung (13), Mon (6), and Tuensang (3).
The state currently has 1351 active cases of COVID-19, while Altogether 832 people migrated from the State.
