Nagaland tourism director awarded with Japan foreign minister commendation

KOHIMA: Nagaland's tourism director Ajanuo Belho has been awarded the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendations 2021 for the “promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and India.”

Reportedly, Belho was among 177 individuals and 41 groups to bag the award this year.

The recipients will be conferred with an award certificate and a commemorative gift. The ceremony couldn't be held this year due to the global pandemic.

Individuals and groups with excellent feats in the international fields are awarded commendations to acknowledge their contributions in promoting friendship between Japan and other countries.
