In his speech, PS Golay said, “North East has been always left behind in the national media. Only in few cases, we get the platform, due to which the rest of India does not know much about us. This is also the reason why the people of the North East have to face the Naxal attacks in other parts of the country.”
The Sikkim CM also urged the national president of the party to take measures to highlight the North East in the national media platforms.
