Kohima: Assam Rifles and Nagaland Police jointly launched an operation and busted a hideout in Hosephu village under Aghunato Sub-Division of Zunheboto District on Tuesday (February 9).
According to officials, the camp had been set up near the village and was dismantled by the troopers during the operation.

"Based on specific input, troops of Assam Rifles alongwith Nagaland police representative launched an operation and busted a hideout, carefully concealed and away from the village area which was in the process of being established illegally as a training camp by the NSCN-Khango faction in general area Hosephu under Aghunato Sub-Division of Zunheboto District on February 09, 2021," the Assam Rifles said in a statement.
The temporary structures under construction were destroyed by burning and the recovered items to include uniforms, rations, digging tools, generator, pup tents & other administrative stores have been handed over to Aghunato Police Station, PRO informed.
