BUXAR: At a time when the COVID-19 pandemic is wreaking havoc in the country, around 40 bodies of victims, who died of the deadly disease, flowed down the Ganga and got piled up at a ghat in Bihar's Buxar district.
The discovery of the large number of bodies have sent shocking waves throughout the world.
Insensitivity towards COVID-19 positive patients or their bodies seems to have no limits.
Meanwhile, a blame game has started between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh over the recovery of the bodies.
The Buxar district administration after being taken aback by the development has been maintaining that the bodies are from Uttar Pradesh which have flowed down to the neighbouring state.
It has however come to light that workers from Katihar Hospital in Bihar had allegedly dumped the bodies of the COVID-19 victims into a river earlier on Sunday.
The incident's video has also gone viral on the social media.
The video shows hospital workers in Katihar throwing the bodies into the river from an ambulance.
The Katihar district administration has now ordered an investigation into the matter after the video surfaced.
