Power Cut in Meghalaya from 9 AM to 4 PM on Oct. 26

Shillong, October 25, 2019:

The Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited has issued a notice informing the customers that there will be no power supply in certain areas on Saturday due to urgent Operations and Maintenance work at the Mawlai Grid Substation.

The power cut will be from 9 am to 4 pm on October 26, 2019.

The areas where there will be power cut has been notified are:

High Court of Meghalaya, Keating Road, SBI Main Branch, Old Assembly, DC Office, All Government offices at Secretariat Hill, Pine Wood, SMB, Convention Cemtre, Raj Bhawan, AIR, Barik, State Central Library, Civil Hospital, Nongmalki Road, Lachumiere, Dhankheti area, whole of Malki, along Don Bosco area, Laitumkhrah Main road upto Police Point, St. Mary’s College, St. Anthony’s College, Shillong College, Commerce College, PGT College, Upland road, Part of Police Bazar, Lady Keana College, Anjalee areas up to old NEFA Secretariat, Lewduh, MES, 101 Area, Lummawbah, Umlyngka, Nongshek, 3rd Mile, parts of Sawmer, Mawbah, Jhalupara, whole of Maworem, KHADC, Lumdiengjri, Lamavilla, Sunny Hill, Jaiaw Langsning, Dr. Gordon Robert Hospital, Mission Compound, Synod College, Qualapatty, Wahthapbru, Mawlai (except Kynton, Massar, Nongmali, Mawroh, part of Phudmuri), Mawiong, whole of Jaiaw (except JaiawMihngi), Wahingdoh, part of Riatsamthiah, Umsohsun, and adjoining areas.
