Pre-election reshuffle in Manipur police administration

Imphal, March 18, 2019:

The Manipur state Government has made some transfers and reshuffles in the police department on March 16, 2019 as a pre-election shake-up.

The police officers who will be transferred and posted are as follows:

Amrita Sinha (IPS) who is currently posted as Additional SP (LO) in Imphal East has been transferred to Chandel district and promoted to the position of SP.

Sandip Gopaldas Mohurle (IPS) currently serving as Addl. SP (LO) in Churachandpur has been transferred to Thoubal district and promoted to the post of SP.

S.Somorjit Singh (MPS), currently serving as i/c SP Chandel has been posted as i/c CO 8^th MR Bn.

S. Ibomcha Singh (MPS), currently serving as i/c SA in Thoubal district has been posted as i/c CO/11^th IR Bn (Attached to PHQ)

N. Madhunimal Singh (MPS), currently serving as Dy.CO/8^th MR Bn. (to look after the charge of CO/8^th MR Bn.) has been posted as Addl. SP/Railway and in charge SP/Railway (attached to PHQ).
