NEW DELHI: Yoga teacher baba Ramdev in a viral video on social media sites can be seen criticizing doctors and modern medicines, using various fake death statistics such as 1,000 and 10,000.
He claimed that over 10,000 doctors in India have died even after receiving both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Besides this, he also can be heard insulting doctors and dismissing the usefulness of COVID-19 vaccinations in yet another viral video, claiming to be a doctor of "divinity" and "dignity."

"If you want to be a doctor, follow Swami Ramdev, who has no formal education yet is everyone's doctor. I am a doctor without a degree, with divinity and dignity,” he said.
The video surfaced after a day after union health minister Harsh Vardhan wrote a strongly-worded letter to Ramdev, asking him to withdraw his “unfortunate” statements on allopathic medicine.
Ramdev then withdrew his statement and responded to the letter stating he wanted to put the matter to rest.

Following the continuing feud between the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and yoga guru, Ramdev heated up even more on Wednesday, with the medical group slapping Ramdev with a Rs 1,000-crore defamation notice and writing to the prime minister requesting sedition charges against him.
The IMA Uttarakhand stated to seek a penalty of Rs 1000 crore from Ramdev if he does not release a video refuting his views against allopathic medicine or present a written apology within the next 15 days.
It further asked that "misleading Coronil advertisements claiming to treat the side-effects of CPOVID vaccinations" be taken down.
