In collaboration with Assam citizenry, Red Horns Division ended the two-week Swachata Pakhwada across various districts in Assam today.
In an initiative taken by Red Horn Division, a cleanliness drive was undertaken by youths and children of Chirang, Kokrajhar, Goalpara and South Salmara Mankecha’s Dusty’s.
To increase the awareness on hygiene and sanitation, school premises and central locations in villages were cleaned after a lecture on the premises.
According to reports, in the districts of Karbi Anglong, an informative film was also screened for the benefit of students of Diphu Government College to promote cleanliness in society.
Active participation of the youth was witnessed and this showed their strong determination towards a clean Assam and clean India.
