GOA: Jamshedpur FC have signed India international Seiminlen Doungel on loan from FC Goa for the remaining matches of the Indian Super League Season 7.
Fondly called Len, the Manipuri winger who opened his ISL career with NorthEast United FC (NEUFC), is one of four Indians to have scored a hattrick in the ISL scoring three against Chennaiyin FC in 2017-18 during his second stint with NEUFC. The 27-year-old has also played for teams such as Shillong Lajong, East Bengal, Delhi Dynamos and Bengaluru FC.
He was instrumental in FC Goa finishing top of the league in the 2019-20 ISL season, thus, becoming the ISL Premiers (shield winners).
“Jamshedpur is a club that has shown a lot of ambition this season with a coach who has been doing great things for a long time. I am here to do my best for the club and help out the team, so we can achieve good results for the last part of the season and qualify for the playoffs,” Len said after his signing.
