DEHRADUN: The Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express caught fire in between Raiwala and Kansrao railway station in Uttarakhand this afternoon.
The fire broke out in the C4 compartment of the train.
The cause of the fire is suspected to occur due to a short circuit.
According to reports, a senior Railway Ministry official in Delhi said that the coach which caught fire was placed in the eighth position from the train engine.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot after receiving the information and the affected coach was detached.
However, no injuries of the passenger have been reported.
As many as 35 passengers in the coach were shifted and adjusted in other coaches.
