GANGTOK: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang completed two years of his governance on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion the chief minister said that he wishes to express his gratitude to the people of Sikkim for embracing the change believing in him for the future.
He further said that the responsibility given to him has motivated and encouraged him and his government to serve the people with utmost dedication.
Expressing gratitude the Chief Minister said that he would like thank all for their cooperation and contribution for the smooth running of the government during the ongoing pandemic.
Talking about the efforts of his party Sikkim Krantimari Morcha (SKM), the Chief Minister said that they left no stone unturned to achieve the goal of change and assisting people during pandemic.
"Our journey has been a challenging one yet we have been moving forward with our duties, planting seeds of development in all aspects", said the Chief Minister.
He further appealed to all to co-operate with the health officials and other frontline workers as well as to follow all the COVID-19 protocols issued by the government.
