Sikkim: Drugs seized in East district, a juvenile linked with the crime

SINGTAM: Following up on the Brown Sugar Seizure on Thursday, Singtam PS team, East District recovered drugs in Sikkim's East districts Singtam area based on source information.

The drugs were seized yesterday evening at 7.45 pm while the drug peddlers were trading in drugs near the IDBI Bank ATM Singtam.

The seized contraband includes 1440 capsules of Spasmoproxyvon.

Cash amounting to Rs1,17,960/- (crime proceeds) was also recovered from the house.

The accused has been identified as Ganesh Pradhan r/o Jublee Line Singtam. A Juvenile named Raja Kr Gupta also found linked with the drug crime.

An investigation on the matter is underway and a case has been registered by the police under NDPS and SADA.
