Sikkim: Earthquake of magnitude 4.3 jolts Lachung

GANGTOK: An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale rocked the Lachung area of North Sikkim district today at 9:04 am.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the Eathquake of Magnitude occurred at 9:04:10 IST, Lat: 33.29 & Long:89.07, Depth: 10km, location: 623Km N of Lachung.

Earlier on Tuesday, an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on Richter scale struck Assam’s Tezpur.
