GANGTOK: The continuous rainfall has wreaked havoc upon the state of Sikkim as it has resulted in various natural calamities.
According to reports, various parts of the state since morning have claimed a rise in water level in the river.
Footage of water level rise could be seen coming from places like Singtam, Rangpo, Bhushuk, Ranikhola, etc.

Natural calamities like landslides are making the matter worse.
The rise in water level is partially attributed to continuous rainfall, which came after cyclone Yaas.
In the present scenario, the gushing river with risen water levels has posed concern and fear among the peoples residing near the river banks.
