GANGTOK: 93 oxygen concentrators were jointly donated to the Government of Sikkim by ACT (a non-profit coalition created by the Indian startup ecosystem to fight the pandemic) and Swasth Alliance which is a non-profit alliance of over 150+ healthcare organizations in India.

Karma Bhutia and his wife Ira Bhutia coordinated the delivery of the aforementioned oxygen concentrators to the state and formally handed over it to Prem Singh Tamang who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to them and everyone, including Delhivery (logistics partner).

He also conveyed his thanks to Prashanth Prakash (Advisor to Hon'ble Chief Minister, Karnataka). The oxygen concentrators are currently at the STNM hospital in Sochyagang.

It is to be noted that ACT, Swasth Alliance (a not-for-profit alliance of over 150+ healthcare organizations), and Feeding India (a not-for-profit run by Zomato) are working towards the goal of sourcing and distributing 50,000 oxygen concentrators with Delhivery as the logistic partner.
