Sikkim records 268 fresh COVID-19 cases; 2 more deaths recorded in 24 hrs

GANGTOK: A total of 268 fresh COVID-19 cases were registered in Sikkim yesterday, pushing the tally in the state to 9,451.

While East Sikkim recorded 205 new cases, West Sikkim reported 25 cases, followed by North Sikkim 24, and South Sikkim 14.

On the other hand, two more people succumbed to the disease, taking the total number of deaths in the state to 160.

The state currently has 2,398 active cases, while 6,688 people have recovered from the disease so far.

As many as 204 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other states.

Sikkim has conducted 98,675 COVID-19 tests so far, including 807 yesterday.
