Three people were killed and seven injured when a vehicle met with an accident triggered by landslide in East Sikkim on Tuesday.
According to Superintendent of Police, East Sikkim, Hari Chettri, the Sumo vehicle bearing registration number SK 01 J 1877 went off road while returning from Padamchen.

Two female tourists and the Sumo driver have been killed in the road accident at Keew Khola in Lingtam in East Sikkim.
The three people have been identified as Jharna Saha (48), Hrishpriya Ghose (13) and Suraj Chettri, the driver of the vehicle.

It may be mentioned here that the deceased hail from Kalikapur, Murari Pukurvroad Kolkata and Manzing Lingmoo South Sikkim.
