NEW DELHI: The governments of Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh have also stated on Saturday that the state board examinations for Class 12 will be cancelled.
Despite the lockdown, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin indicated that parts of the restrictions will be ease from Monday, except in 11 districts where the number of new cases reported is still high.

The government of Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh and Goa extended the COVID restrictions in their respective states until June 14 on Saturday.
India recorded over 1.14 lakh new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours bringing the country's total infections to over 2.88 crore on Sunday.
This is the lowest daily case count in two months. Out of these, over 14 lakh are active cases whereas 2.69 crore have recovered after testing positive.
The death toll currently stands at 3,46,759 with 2,677 new deaths. With 21,410 new cases Tamil Nadu continues to be the leading contributor.
