CHENNAI: A YouTuber from Chennai was reportedly arrested on Friday for live-streaming PUBG game, which is illegal in India, with vulgar and obscene commentary about women.
Madan Kumar, who had been on the run, was apprehended in Dharmapuri which is roughly a six-hour drive from Chennai, according to police.
His wife, Krithika, the channel's administrator had been detained by the city police's Central Crime Branch in Salem district on Thursday.

According to the sources, the couple's YouTube channel has around eight lakh subscribers out of which several subscribers are minor
The arrests were made after a Chennai resident filed a complaint against the couple's YouTube channels, which include Madan, Toxic Madan 18+, PUBG Madan Girl Fan and Richie Gaming YT.
The complainant highlighted specific titles in the channel such as "MADAN angry at his girlfriend| Strictly 18+|Tamil| PUBGM| Richie GamiNg," which he claimed depicted women in a vulgar manner, infringing on their privacy and dignity and causing perversion in children who watch the videos.
The complainant also requested a channel ban as well as punishment against Madan Kumar, citing the fact that many of the followers were children.
The Madras High Court was startled to hear the recorded chats while hearing an anticipatory bail request on Thursday.
According to the police, Kumar has made a fortune income from his YouTube. He appears to have a monthly income of around 3 lakh. He owns three premium cars and two of which are Audis.
