Three rebels held in Manipur

In a combined operation, the Civil Defence Officer (CDO) and the police apprehended three suspected militants from Pallel area of Manipur on Friday.

The arrested rebels were identified as M Martha Nengeikim Haokip, M Chinneilhing Haokip and Md. Najir.

The joint team seized some contraband items and Burmese currency of 500 kyats from their possession. The accused persons were later handed over to the police.
