Tripura 12th Science Topper Felicitated by Education Minister

Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Tuesday felicitated TBSE 12th standard Science stream topper Nilanjan Deb for his outstanding result in the 2019 TBSE HS Science examination. TBSE president Bhabatosh Saha was also present in the felicitation programme.

Addressing the media, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath congratulated Nilanjan Deb for scoring such overwhelming results in 2019 TBSE HS Exam. He further stated that Nilanjan Deb is a role model for all aspiring HS candidates. He said that Nilanjan has set an example for CM Biplab Kumar Deb’s big dream of transforming Tripura into a model state. He will also build the "pillar" for the "model state", added Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath.

"Education empowers minds that will be able to conceive good thoughts and ideas and there cannot be any compromise with education," said Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath. Meanwhile, Nilanjan Deb has also expressed gratitude for receiving such overwhelming appreciation from the Education Minister himself.The topper further suggested the aspiring students to read the text books and take proper guidance from the teachers.

Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has declared the H.S. (+2) science stream result on May 21 morning much before the expected date. This move of the Tripura board is expected to be of great benefit to meritorious students in regards to pursuance of higher education.

This year, the board has also declared the top ten provisional merit rank holders and among them, Nilanjan Deb of Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan secured the top position with 485 marks.
