The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit of Tripura has announced the names of the district presidents in the state.
The BJP has ten organizational districts in the state, and out of them, nine district presidents' names have been declared by the saffron party.

Pradyot Dhar, who is the organisational election in-charge of the State, said that, with 15 of this month state president will elected. The state president election process will be start very soon.
Asit Roy has been elected as Sadar district (rural) president, and Alak Bhattacharjee has been elected as the Sadar district (urban) president.
Bhagaban Chandra Das, who is presently an MLA, has been announced as the president of Unokoti District, while Malina Debnath has been elected as the president of North Tripura District.
Another MLA, Pinaki Das Chowdhury, has been announced as the district president of Khowai district, while Debabrata Bhattacharjee has been elected as the president of Sepahijala South.
MLA Sankar Roy has been elected as the president of South Tripura Distrcit and Abhishek Debroy has been elected as the president of Gomoti District. Meanwhile, MLA Parimal Debbarma has been elected as the president of Dhalai District. It is pertinent to mention here that the announcement of the president of Sepahijala North is still pending.
