Tripura: Rank among top five states in good governance

In the recent index published by the Public Affair Centre of India on Good-Governance, Tripura ranked among the top five positions. The index prepares the list on the basis of social and economic development of a state that was initiated in 2016.

The index is evaluated among the smaller states with a population of less than two crore. Among the states in the Northeast, Tripura ranked 5th followed by Mizoram and Sikkim for good governance.
