AGARTALA: The Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb inaugurated the 'Tripura Start-up Week' on Monday along with IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister said that the week-long program will be dedicated to the promotion of vibrant start-ups in the state.

Deb further informed that the taken to boost the state government's commitment to transform Tripura as a leading start-up hub of the northeastern region.
Under this scheme, infrastructure, and financial assistance. Also, an amount of Rs 10 lakh for proof of concept and 1.5 lakh for one-time recruitment. Electricity and high-speed internet connection will also be provided under the scheme.
Reportedly, the state government has planned to create 100 IT start-ups within the next five years.
