Tripura Youths want Jobs, not CAA or NRC: Youth Congress President Srinivas BVjobs

Agartala, February 16, 2020:

Youth Congress National President Srinivas BV on Saturday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to conduct “Naukri Me Charcha (Discussion on Jobs)” in the same vein as 'Pariksha Me Charcha' so that the uneducated youths can find better employment opportunities.

Taking a dig at the centre and the state ruling BJP, he said, “Today the youth want jobs and Modi Ji and his team are giving CAA and NRC. The jobless youths need jobs and not CAA-NRC. I would like to ask him to enlighten the youth through a discussion programme as he does before the exams with the children”.

Addressing a Youth Congress rally at Manughat 105 kilometer from here, BV also said that the BJP has failed to keep its promises, such as giving two crore jobs.

“BJP promised to bring acche din (good days) but it only come for people like Jay Shah whose company’s yearly turn over crossed 80 crore from Rs 50,000.

He also condemned the violence sparked at institutions like Jamia and JNU, claiming that it was a proof of the government's intolerance tactic.

“Those who have raised the voices against them have been subjected to inhuman torture sometimes at the gunpoint or by button. In Jamia, without permission someone fired in broad day light, in JNU masked miscreants triggered vociferous activities. It shows how the government is intolerant to the voice of dissent, ” he charged.
