Two injured during grenade explosion in Imphal

Guwahati, November 17, 2018:

Unidentified miscreants allegedly threw a hand grenade and triggered a minor explosion inside the Capital Complex in Imphal on Friday.

Two people were injured in the explosion. Dog handler RK Mishra and a personnel of Assembly Security Service namely Manoranjan received minor splinter injuries. The injured were immediately rushed to RIMS hospital.

The police are currently investigating the whole issue and verifying if the explosion was triggered by militants.
