DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has been trolled immensely on social media for advocating for coronavirus' right to live as a living organism.
Trivendra Singh while speaking with a local private media channel said, "If we talk philosophically, then Covid-19 virus is also a living organism which wants to live and has a right to live just like humans."
Singh added further, "Hence, we now have to keep our distance from it. It is also moving and we are also moving, but we have to move faster than it so that it gets left behind."
The minute after that clip had gone viral, netizens left no stone unturned to make memes of hi statement. Few of them are as followed:
Trivendra Singh had made headlines in 2019 as well for his controversial comments, when he said that cow is the only animal to exhale oxygen.

Many including political leaders from opposition parties have slammed Rawat for his statement and termed it as foolish and insensitive, at a time when the whole country is in its grim days in view of surge in COVID-19 cases all across.
India reported 3,43,144 fresh Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours, which has taken the cases tally to 2,40,46,809.
Also during the period as many as 4,000 succumbed to the virus and now India's death toll stands at 2,62,317.
