National Stock Exchange provides SMS alert facility to the members. Excited about the operations? Here are the details.
Among many of the advantages, these facility is free to provide only on days when an investor trades on NSE. It covers cash equity, equity derivatives, currency derivatives, and debt segment.
Here’s how to activate the SMS alert:
1. A phone number or an email address should be shared with your stock-broker.
2. Next to verify that your stock-broker has updated the same on NSE records.
3. Whenever there is a change in the mobile or email address, the respective stockbroker should be contacted for updating the latest information in NSE records.
4. An initial welcome SMS or Email on the registered phone number or email address will be received. Now you will start receiving trade alerts after seven working days from the registration day.
5. In the SMS, segment-wise total traded value is provided consolidated on the basis of the combination of PAN and mobile number.
Moreover as directed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India NSE will mandatorily send SMS services at the end of every trading hour.
