With the detection of five new COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland, the number of active cases has reached 119 cases on June 9th, 2020. All the new cases are - 4 from Dmp QC & 1 from Khm QC.
Informing this, Nagaland Minister of Health and Family Welfare S Pangnyu Phom tweeted:
With these cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has gone up to 127; of which 119 are active and eight have been cured and discharged in the state so far. However, the state has not registered any death case.
Assam has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases followed by Tripura. Nagaland has the fourth-highest cases in the region.

India has crossed 2 lakh-mark in terms of corona positives on June 3rd. On June 9th, the country currently has 2,67,000+ confirmed COVID-19 cases, 129917 active cases with 129214 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 7466.

Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 3 thousand deaths. It has recorded 88528 corona cases with 40975 cured, 3169 deaths, and 44384 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 29943 cases with 11357 cured, 874 deaths, and 17712 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 33229 positive cases with 17527 cured, 286 deaths 15416 active cases. Gujarat with 20545 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 13956 have been cured, 1280 deaths, and 5309 active cases.
