Mizoram Election Results: Celebrations begin as ZPM all set to form government

Celebrations have begun among the workers of the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) as the party is all set to form the next government in Mizoram. 

With ZPM sweeping the polls in Mizoram, party workers are celebrating the massive victory which has brought the party to the helm of power for the first time in Mizoram. 

Party workers gathered at the party head office in Aizawl and could be seen exchanging sweets and preparing for a big celebrations ahead. 

The ZPM has taken a massive lead over its rival MNF with lead in a total of 26 seats so far. The MNF is currently leading in just ten seats. On the other hand, While Congress is leading in just one seat, BJP is leading in three seats. 

As per sources, ZPM has asked all its winning MLAs to turn up at the state capital Aizawl tomorrow, even as the party appears to have achieved a comfortable majority. Sources have told India Today NE that the party is looking to form government on its own without any alliance.
