Mizoram Election Results: ZPM leader Lalduhoma to meet Governor in next couple of days

Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) leader Lalduhoma has said that he would be meeting the Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati to stake claim to form the government. 

The ZPM's Chief Ministerial face also said that swearing-in ceremony of the new government will be within this month. 

"Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I will meet the Governor. Swearing-in will be within this month," said Lalduhoma. 

Lalduhoma further said that Mizoram is facing a financial crisis and said that financial reform is necessary at the moment. 

"Mizoram is facing financial crises. That is what we are going to inherit from the outgoing government. We are going to fulfill our commitment. Financial reform is necessary, and for that, we are going to make a resource mobilisation team," he said. 

ZPM is all set to form the government in Mizoram even as the party has taken a huge lead over its rival MNF with lead in as many as 27 seats. MNF on the other hand is trailing behind with just ten seats in hand.
