Amit Shah confident of BJP’s third term in Assam, predicts 90+ seats

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday expressed strong confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party and its NDA allies will return to power in Assam for a third consecutive term with a “thumping majority.”

Addressing party workers and supporters during his campaign visit, Shah said, “We are going to form the government in Assam once again with a thumping majority for the third time.

The people of Assam are eager to bring back the BJP and the NDA government. We will form the government with more than 90 seats.”

His remarks come as campaigning intensifies ahead of the Assam Assembly elections, scheduled for April 9, with counting of votes on May 4.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Kaliabor on April 2 to campaign for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections.

Shah will address an election rally in the Kaliabor Assembly constituency in support of AGP-BJP alliance candidate Keshab Mahanta.

According to Mahanta, the Union Home Minister will participate in a public meeting at the Misa High School playground in the afternoon around 3 PM, where he is expected to address party workers and voters.

The visit is part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s intensified campaign efforts ahead of the state elections, with senior leaders reaching out to voters across constituencies.
