Talking to InsideNE, Jyotishman says "The experience at Arcosanti was really good. The stage was huge and the fun part was there was a stream of water going through the amphitheatre. I have to know more about the Rabab and how to play it better. I will keep perfecting the techinque and continue to perform whenever I get the chance. One day I will thrive to be the best Rabab player." The child prodigy is highly focused about his career at such young age.
While speaking to his mother Rachna who runs an Odissi Dance School at Arizona said "it happened to be in last year March when my dance guru Sanchita Bhattacharjee came to Arizona with her husband Pandit Tarun Bhattacharjee to attend workshop and stayed with us for a couple of days. In the evening Tarun ji used to play the Tabla and Baba (Jyotishman) used to play the Rabab".
The opportunity came to us like a blessing when Tarun ji surprising to our thoughts asked me to get Baba ready to perform with him in the concert at Acrosanti, she added. She also mentioned about her fear over Jyotishman's performance with the Mestro in front of such skilled audiences.
The family is planning to visit India and Guwahati as well in the next summer
