Noted Assamese actor Adil Hussain has joined the cast of the Season 3 of American Sci-Fi franchise 'Star Trek: Discovery'.
Adil Hussain has worked in several English shows. He is better known for his role in Life of Pi and English Vinglish.

The first trailer of the series was premiered at New York Comic-Con on October 5.
Reportedly, 'Star Trek: Discovery' Season 3 will premiere in 2020.
The 56-year-old actor, who hails from Assam, has acted in many Assamese, English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Norwegian and even French movies.
And now, he's set to cast in one of the greatest Sci-Fi series of all times.

Star Trek: Discovery is an American web television series created for CBS All Access by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman. Launched in 2017, it is the first scripted series developed specifically for that service. The seventh series in the Star Trek franchise, it was the first series in the franchise since Star Trek: Enterprise concluded in 2005. Star Trek: Discovery begins roughly a decade before the events of the original Star Trek series, and follows the crew of the USS Discovery on various adventures.
